Update from Bethanie Orphanage in Congo

Our representative at Bethanie Orphanage just sent us an update on two of the many children we support in Congo with your help.

Here’s her note:

Wayne, this is Lela (above). She has been at Bethanie Orphanage since newborn. They don’t know what happened to parents – Social Services brought her to our orphanage.

Handsome little Brice

Brice was older when he was found left in a market and the police showed a picture on TV but no family claimed him, so he was brought to Bethanie. He has been sick lately – you can see how slender he has gotten. We couldn’t get a smile out of him at all.

Everyday, children are getting the meals and care they need as a direct result of the work we are all doing here. By selling these products, you are not only helping folks work but also helping feed these beautiful and innocent children. I am sure these kids want you to know how much it means to them to be eating decent food and able to live in a safe and nurturing environment.
